The Stream

Lu believes that visual effects can be widely used for any kind of purposes. Based on this idea, now he brings it into installation art -- the popular contemporary art form growing in recent decades. Lu wants to use his efforts to demonstrate that visual effects artworks can be serious, it can let people think, it can let people calm down, it can be presented in museum instead of being shown on devices only . This is the small step of LU, but it will be the big step for human beings in art.

Chinese Opera Makeup

Yes, Lu did it. Combining the Chinese traditional art form with the modern art technology, the breathtaking artwork now is breaking the limitations of traditions and going into the real world.

"China has a very briliant culture in 5000 years. However, due to "The Lost Centuries" which was almost from 1745 - 1979, China was far behind the world. At the same time it lost its distinguish style. Until today, it is starting to be powerful like it was in the history. But unfortunately people still tend to be xenophilic, so it's time to alarm Chinese culture from the sleeping mode by using a unique way. I'm so excited that I could be the pioneer to achive it by my bear hands."    —— Lu

Blue Museum

In Savannah, one thing impressed me was that there were so many individual museums and churchs. During the time in ESL program, following the professor Rexanna K. Lester, Harriet Speer, Elithebath Lietzau-Kluetsch and Christina, we visited such as Telfair Museum of Art, Savannah History Museum, and our award winning SCAD Muesum of Art clike me. I always missing the time that I was there, not only learning, observing, thinking something at there, but when I think about the museum, they would be the first guy say "Hi" in my mind, they've become one of my part since that time.

After The Rain, Shanghai

This is a magic city, it brings different kinds of cultures into Chinese world. If you are a Chinese, you feel like this is your home, modern but still acient; if you come from westen world, you can still feel this is your second home, everything is familiar with; if you are still regretful that you didn't go to Manhattan, well, at Lujiazui-- the CBD of Shanghai--you would be never disappointing. This is the magic city, the next New York.

Monty, SCAD

Three years I'v been there, it was like a book, there were so many untold stories in each page, each of them has different colors, with individual mood.

It was like a jail, no windows, no terrace. Time was like stoped. Was it day or night? I didn't know, I was alone.

It was my wonderland, so many faces, so many friends. We working there, we fighting there, we crying there, we laughing there.

That is Monty, that is SCAD.
